"Despite all I've been through, I am still happy" Tiwa Savage claims as she talks about her new international deal with Jay'z record label

Tiwa Savage, the first lady of Mavin crew got a lot of people talking when she signed an international contract that most of her associates only dream about. The beautiful music artiste was recently appointed in Jay Z's Roc Nation records.  A lot of people started suggesting that the contract might cause a fight between Tiwa and Mavin records, this is due to the believe that a similar deal of such caused a serious rift in the former Mo'hits records which was headed by D'banj and Don Jazzy.

Despite this, the musician has made it clear that she wouldn't allow such agitation have an impact on the elevation of her calling, Even as she strongly asserted that she doesn't know what caused the fight between Don Jazzy and D'banj, as she wasn't in their record label when the rift happened.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, the singer said:

I really don't think the International deal was what broke Mo'hits. I would not like to think that and I don't think any of us can really talk about that issue because it is only the two of them that knows what happened between them. For me, this is a blessing and I would not allow something that happened before to make me nervous. Maybe this is a way for us to get a second chance as Nigerian artistes and second chances rarely happen.

The singer who had a separation with her husband few months ago said that despite all what she has been through, she is still happy.

She said:

I am very happy,  am blessed, I have a child and I have no reason why I should not be happy. I have a beautiful healthy son and a loving family. My career is getting stronger by the day. I just signed an international deal. Why shouldn't I be happy?

Not everybody loves Jesus Christ, so who is Tiwa Savage in the scheme of things ? I am nobody, I am just somebody that God has put talent in. In all honesty, when I encounter negative criticisms, I just focus on the people that love me. You cannot may anyone love you, so I try not to convince anyone to love me. I would rather focus on the people that love me and make sure that I do not disappoint them.
